Kempenfest has long been a "go-to" outdoor arts and crafts festival for many in the Barrie, Ontario region. 2019 marked the 49 year for this event. It ranks in the top 100 festivals in Ontario and is North Americas largest outdoor arts and crafts show. Basically, if you haven't been, you should go! This year Flags Unlimited sponsored the event and had the opportunity to set up on the grounds for the weekend. But besides our awesome staff working the August long weekend, Flags Unlimited once again got to show off some pretty sweet capabilities.
One of the rapidly growing things to see at Kempenfest is the entertainment. This year, featured on the RBC stage were bands like; Loverboy, Teenage Head, Jess Moskaluke, The Martels and many more. If you saw any of these bands, or stopped by the beer tent near the stage, you probably saw this...
Flags Unlimited was responsible for printing and finishing the signage all around the stage. This sort of large format printing and finishing has such great impact. These banners were printed on polyester mesh which is both light-weight and allows the wind to move through easily (you don't want them to become blow away after all).
It's pretty typical for many festivals and events to rent stages and often times the graphics will get left to the event organizers to deal with. Well, look no further, Flags Unlimited can help with these stage dressings and more. We love to see these large graphics come to life!
We also had a great team working our display all weekend, selling Canada Flag and promoting our custom products. We had so much amazing feedback it was great to get out and meet everyone who supports us in our community. Maybe you played a round of bean bag toss or took part in our draw for a 20' flagpole?
One thing is for sure, Summer festival season is always an incredible and exciting time. We Canadians really know how to take advantage of the sunshine. So, if you're looking for a great supplier of large format graphics, stage mesh, fencing and more, call us!
We are More Than Just Flags.
